Employment Partners are recruiting experienced Class 1 (HGV 1) Drivers for a well-established client based in the Diss area, Norfolk.
These HGV Class 1 driving jobs in Diss are to cover holiday and peak periods, starting from 20th February, with flexible and varying dates available. Drivers with shunting experience will be at an advantage.
This role is ideal for semi-retired HGV drivers, part-time Class 1 drivers, or those seeking reliable weekday HGV work in Norfolk.
HGV Class 1 Shift Details

Monday to Friday – Day shifts

Average shift length: 10–13 hours

Start times between 05:00 and 06:00 (flexible)

Paid breaks included

24-hour on-site canteen
Class 1 Driver Duties
-
Driving curtain-side HGV Class 1 vehicles
-
1–3 drops or collections per shift
-
Trailer drop and swap operations
-
All loads pre-loaded and forklifted on/off
-
No handballing required
-
Knowledge of internal load strapping (pallets and paper reels)
Pay Rate
-
£18.50 per hour PAYE, including holiday pay
HGV Driver Requirements

Minimum 6 months continuous Class 1 (HGV 1) driving experience

Full UK Class 1 driving licence

Valid Driver CPC

Valid Digital Tacho card

Maximum 6 penalty points (no DD or DR convictions)

Paid site induction required before starting
